The dilemma? How to keep the bar costs down for your wedding reception. You want to be a gracious host, but you don't want to go broke doing it. The first great decision is to limit the bar to wines, a great beer selection, and maybe a signature drink (more on that next week). While the words 'great' and 'boxed-wine' were rarely seen in the same sentence, more and more companies are going 'outside the bottle' with tasty and cost saving results.
Black Box Wines is one of the best; winner to 28 gold medals in wine competitions nationwide in the last nine years. The bet part is that on average, their wine costs 40% less than comparable premium brands. (I'd do their Pinot Grigio, the Malbec as your red, and the lush Moscato.)

A great design touch (and actually, a practical one too, since red wine should decant, or 'air out' a bit to enhance its flavor) is to serve those wines from pretty antique or faux antique bottles. No one will be the wiser!
