Sometimes life imitates wedding planning, and this has been one of those weeks. Hurricaine Sandy has pummeled much of the east coast and most of us had more urgent tasks than blogging, myself included.
We had six great couples this weekend, and as we went into the weekend, they all had the same priority; to marry the person they love. Guests cancelled, makeup artists and hairdressers no where to be found, place cards got lost in transit, licenses were delivered late, but nothing stopped those couples from their real goal; to create a marriage, not necessarily a wedding.
So when your invitations come in with the wrong color ink, the cake is an unexpected flavor, the flower dog decides to bolt instead of process keep calm and carry on. At the end of the day, you'll still be just as married.
