I know, what are DRAWERS doing on a wedding tip blog?  Because your old dresser drawers can make fabulous 'baskets' for all kinds of cocktail food (little finger sandwiches, brucetta, even cookies.  Line with burlap or butcher paper and you are good to go with a conversation worthy presentation.  Great for rustic/barn weddings!  (You can build your ladies' room baskets in them too!)

Once you start looking around your house, you'll find all kind of interesting vessels that can be repurposed for serving pieces; all those glass vases make lovely holders for crudites or candy buffets.  Shot glasses?  You can fill them with marina and top with rice balls (click on the pix for a link to "The Chew" recipe" and the recipe.  (You could also fill them with a yummy shot of Godiva Liqueur and top with a little cream puff or a cake pop!

How about a big flat clock to serve hors d'oeuvres as you wait for the midnight?  How about ornate picture frames lined with your invitation or scrapbooking paper as trays?  Start looking around; you'll find LOTS of ideas!
